Mid-Term Holidays

This year's mid year holidays went by blisteringly fast. I first traveled to Surabaya for a National Junior Indonesian Golf Tournament, following an annual 2 and a half week holiday in Australia. During our 1 week stay in Surabaya, I was extremely determined to win the tournament. The first day, I played an awesome score of 3 under and was leading. It felt quite uncanny since I normally play bad the first day and good the next. However, during my second round, the nerves got to me at the worst possible moments. My fate of the tournament lied on my final putt on the very last hole... The putt lipped out! I ended up finishing the tournament with a great score of 1 under but unfortunately lost the overall best gross by 1 stroke and tied for first in my age group. After the tournament,
I felt extremely happy with my performance but wish I had one more chance to redo that final putt. Furthermore, my youngest brother achieved his first hole in one and won a 2-year lasting prize of 13 million Rupiah. That money however shortly lasted when we arrived in Australia to buy new golf clubs and visit the family. We also spent 3 days and 2 nights up in Mount Baw Baw to further learn snowboarding. We first spent our time tobogganing after making a ramp that drew in several kids. Many bruises were made that day. On the 2nd day, we had a 3 hour snowboarding lesson. It goes pretty fast and my brothers and I were completely knackered after completing it. However, we continued snowboarding till dark. The last day on the mountain, we gained a lot of confidence and started riding faster. Before we knew it, 2 and a half weeks had passed. It was great to visit the family and overall I had an awesome holiday.
